Role Description

Role Description:

This company are looking for a motivated individual to join their expanding engineering team to become a fully qualified engineer.

Some of your roles will include:

  • Learn to understand and interpret technical documentation
  • Communicate effectively in an engineering environment
  • Learn to use hand tools and develop hand skills
  • Identification and selection of machine tools and equipment
  • Machine tool operation and fundamentals
  • CNC milling machine tool setting, programming and operation
  • Manual machine tool setting and operation 

This list is not exhaustive and you may be required to complete other duties during your apprenticeship.

Desired skills

You must be:

  • Able to work effectively with your hands
  • Have some knowledge of Engineering

 

Personal qualities

You need to be:

  • Willing to learn 
  • Reliable
  • Have a trustworthy attitude 

 

Desired qualifications

GCSE Grade C/4 or above in Maths, English and Science
