Role Description

Role Description:

This is a very practical role which would be ideal for someone who is practically minded.

Some of your job roles and responsibilities will include:

  • De-burring and inspection of plastics components coming off the CNC Router
  • Transporting components from CNC department to fabrication department
  • Drilling and fitting of captive inserts into plastic components
  • Heating and folding of plastic panels
  • Tacking and lining up panels ready for final assembly
  • Plastic welding (conventional & extrusion)
  • Leak testing plastic assemblies to confirm water tightness
  • Forming and welding plastic panels into circular spigots
  • Storage and stock control of finished plastic assemblies
  • Housekeeping in both fabrication and CNC departments

You must have:

  • A good level of mathematical skills
  • A desire to learn new skills

 

Personal qualities

You need to be:

  • A team player
  • Able to use your initiative 

 

Desired qualifications

GCSE Grade C/4, equivalent or above in maths and English.
