What will the apprentice be doing?

The Unilever R&D advanced apprenticeship scheme in Colworth is your opportunity to join an exciting area within Unilever. Our apprentices follow a structured and challenging academic programme to achieve a Level 3 Diploma whilst working on real projects to deliver products that are used by some of 2.5 billion consumers every day.

you will study part-time and get a Level 3 Engineering Technician qualification, whilst experiencing work across a range of different roles using some of the most innovative, modern and technically advanced equipment for the manufacture of new ice cream or tea-based drinks products at our world-class pilot-plant and precision engineering prototyping facility.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

As an apprentice, you’ll receive on-the-job training and experience in an administrative position along with formal training to gain the knowledge and skills you’ll need to support our business operations. You’ll join a team with a dedicated line manager committed to enhancing your career experiences. You will receive the Level 3 Engineering Technician apprenticeship qualification. 

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Good changes of progression to temporary/permanent employment.
